What is a booster? All of the issues surrounding Dede Campbell come back to her status as a booster. So, what makes a person a booster of Georgia Tech Athletics?
From the Georgia Tech Athletic Association website:
Representative of Athletics Interest
A Representative of Athletics Interest (booster) is anyone who is known (or should be known) by a member of the institution's executive or athletic administration to:
Note: Once an individual or organization is identified as a Representative of the Institution's Athletics Interest, the person or organization retains that identity forever.
Remember: Once a booster, ALWAYS a booster.

Who is Dede Campbell?
Dede is the self-proclaimed "World's biggest Georgia Tech Fan." But, those of us who actually care about the program see her a little differently. Her actions were listed on Page 18 of the NCAA case against Georgia Tech that resulted in the 2009 ACC Championship being stripped. [reference: AJC Report] She still insists she did nothing wrong, and continues to try to contact players through Facebook, and other social networking sites. And, despite all of this, she still tries to get on the field whenever she can to talk to the players!
She is an horrible representative of GT, and needs to stop. Because she won't stop on her own, something has to be done.
